Import/Export Internship
So, I had an informational phone conversation with a market risk manager at a physical energy trading firm (think Cargill, Glencore, Gavilon). Anyway, he told me that he couldn't offer me an internship this summer because I am only a sophomore, but that I should get some experience this summer and he would try to get me a gig for next summer. He told me to leverage my Russian language skills as I am double majoring in Russian. Specifically he said to look for an internship that deals with import/export to Russia. He basically said any busines related internship would be good summer of sophomore year, but that if I found something that used Russian it would be even better. I've been looking around for import/export opportunities but have had no luck. Not sure where to even start looking. Does anyone have any advice or insight on where to look?
Appreciate it
Export-import bank of US? Dude they have banks in russia why not try there, but ur russian better be good lol.
haha russian isnt THAT good.
I have a friend that used to do oil & electronics smuggling. That is technically import-export...and you'll see lots of exotic places.
Not sure you can put it on the CV tho....
