A buddy of mine recently introduced me to Conspire (http://conspire.com). It's like a souped-up version of LinkedIn for figuring out how you're connected to people, based on your email communication (integrates with Gmail/Google Apps). I've been using it for sales leads, but I imagine if you're trying to figure out how to network into a company, it would be equally killer.
Another cool feature is you can join "networks" that increase your range, even if you haven't necessarily emailed someone. A WSO network might be an interesting feature to some extent.
