ING Market Research Team Internship

Hey guys, I will have a phone interview soon with a VP of ING for a 10 week internship this summer. I am a freshman at a non target studying finance.

What are your thoughts on what questions will be asked? I am reading up on the info on M&A but want to make sure I am not missing anything in terms of questions that he/she will ask.

I expect it to be pretty casual, no technical questions - just the "what can you bring to the team/why are you interested in this position" type questions.

This is my first phone interview, any tips would be of great help. Thanks guys.

The best tip I can offer isn't specific. Think about the interview like a conversation with a random guy you met on the street. You don't know who he is. You don't care who he is. You just want to have a good conversation and pick up some information from him. A general rule I go by is, I try and ask the person who is interviewing me as many or more questions.

The best way to get someone to hire you is to show you aren't intimidated, you are interested, and you do know what you're talking about.
