Insights into being an Index Analyst
Hey guys, Was wondering if anybody had insight/experience being an Index analyst. Nature of work, comp, career trajectory etc...Would it be more quant type of work or more "operational"? My understanding is that it would be more operational in nature (rebalancing, composition, no real "investment" type of work). Would you be exposed to the markets in terms of pricing, issuance, etc? Interested in hearing ppl's thoughts. Thanks.
