Insurance to Finance Transition

Hi all,

I studied Risk Management & Insurance, and Management at a non-target in Texas. I’m currently working in insurance underwriting in Chicago. I’m debating transitioning to finance when I move back to Texas, simply because there’s more opportunities and I find finance stuff just as interesting.

I really like the analytical side of underwriting and am open to any type of role in the industry. 

Do y’all think there’s a chance I could break into something in finance? If so what roles for y’all think would be best?
