Internal Networking for an Incoming MBA Student
I'm currently working in AM at a BB and will be pursuing my MBA at an M7 school this fall with the intention of transitioning to a career in IB. I'm planning to network before I get to school to try to set myself up for success and figured that I would start within my own firm. Where in the food chain should I be targeting - recent alumni associates, VPs, or MDs? Should I start from the bottom and seek referrals up the food chain or is there a sweet spot I should focus on?
