Internal Transfering
How does one go about switching from one part of the bank to another? Say you are a summer analyst in AM but want to make a jump to IB for full time. How would you approach HR/your network to do this as amicably as possible?
Network with teams you are interested in during your internship and put in for internal mobility at the conclusion of your internship. Most BB’s should have that option assuming you get a full time offer to rejoin your current team. It’s a lot harder to join another division/group but not unheard of if that team knows you and will vouch for you.
