international DUI

Hi,
I'm not a US citizen and I have a non-US DUI on my record.
Where I come from, DUI is not a misdemeanor, just a traffic violation.

After getting an offer from a top bank, should I disclose this under misdemeanors?

Does DUI actually make banks rescind their offers?

LMAO. A DUI is a traffic violation? Do you mind if I ask where you're from?

Also, I doubt it. The only people that would have that kind of information is the Feds. So unless you had to go through a security check by them, unlikely.

TechBanking, I'm from Israel. DUI is not a misdemeanor. It's a traffic offense (a severe one, but still traffic).

It seems weird that they won't retrieve my Israeli. charges. After all, how would they know I'm not a serious criminal? There must be some linkage between them and the feds

Wow. Is the amount of DUI's high in Israel with it not being a severe offense? I feel like the amount of DUIs here is really high and it's a more serious charge.

DUI is not a misdemeanor in NJ too. It's a very serious offense in Israel, but technically, it's listed under driving record, not criminal charges. We don't have felony/misdemeanor crime classification in Israel. We have a different systems for crime classification.

Also, Do banks asks for disclosure of misdemeanors, or they specifically ask for DUIs?

more people have DUIs than you probably think - it really isn't a big deal.

You're born, you take shit. You get out in the world, you take more shit. You climb a little higher, you take less shit. Till one day you're up in the rarefied atmosphere and you've forgotten what shit even looks like. Welcome to the layer cake, son.
