International sophomore tryna break into IB

Hi fellow monkeys,

I'm an international sophomore at a semi-target uni. I will be interning at a boutqiue in my home country this summer, and I want to break into IB in the US. I had a few questions about my special circumstance. So thanks to a few AP classes I took during high school, I am eligible to graduate in December 2022. How would the 60-day rule for International Students in the US affect me? Does the 60-day rule start as soon as you complete your credits or does the 60-day start from your Convocation date/end of academic year in May-June? Assuming I am able to secure an offer, would banks be willing to onboard me early in the year rather than waiting for the traditional summer start date? The International Students Network isn't very helpful over email/Zoom, so I thought someone in this forum might have been in a similar situation before. Would appreciate if anyone could shed some colour!
