This thread is for the purpose of discussing the 2021 summer analyst internship programs for international students (foreigners too) applying to banks within the US (mainly NYC) and Canada. Chances are slim, visas are an issue, etc. But still, feel free to share your experience so far, and whether you've got any first rounds, superdays, etc.

Personally havent heard back from any other big banks for S&T though
banks that sponsor & citizenship presents zero to little hurdle: gs, baml, cs, db,
banks that sponsor on a case-by-case basis: ms, citi, ubs
banks that don't sponsor: barclays
eb's basically all sponsor, with pwp seeming to be more case-by-case
baml doesnt sponsor for most roles
many eb don't sponsor such as William Blair
William Blair is shaky. They sponsored for SA 2020 (2+ internationals from my school, ivy+) but HR said they would not sponsor for SA 2021.
Sometimes HR will say they don't so that they don't attract too many international application even if they are willing to sponsor a few applicants if they network well and are far into the process. Check the H1B databases for actual statistics.
