Internship agencies?
It has caught my attention that there are a few internship agencies out there charging student a fee and will get them a job in their desired industries. They are, however, unpaid though.
Just to name a few “Capital placement” literally will help you get “investment banking” internships. “Global Experiences” have connections with PE and a firm that offers ibd internship.
There are many others that offer “finance” internships too. I’m wondering, for a student with no prior internship experience in the field and is struggling to get one, is it a good idea to have a go at these?
Any comments are appreciated. I am just not sure if a paid internship (you pay the agency) is better than leaving the CV empty.

1. I'm pretty sure these programs don't actually place you in IB
2. Their process still requires the banks to want to hire you
So really you solve nothing here.
So the answer is no. Go network. Do some extracurriculars. Get good grades.
They say if they don't get you a job that you actually like they will refund you lol.
Got a feeling there is no harm to try, considering a remote internship is just £950.
