Internship from outside the US

Are banks(BBs specifically) allowing interns to do the virtual internships from outside the US this summer? Heard nothing from the bank I am interning at this summer so was wondering as an international who is in their home country, what to do.

I assume so, the virtual internship is virtual so it shouldn't matter at all what country you're in. That being said I have no idea what the official US BB policy is as a non-US non-intern.

You might need to get some international minutes on your phone and it might make calling you annoying, and if you're in a different timezone you'll have to adjust your sleeping schedule but other than that I can't really see a problem with this. One of the analysts in my cohort is WFH in a timezone with three hours difference and everyone seems ok with that.
