Internship Investment Banking

Hello,

I will start an off cycle internship in M&A at a top bank in Paris.

My school (french target) requires me to do an internship out of France in 2022.

What do you recommend ? Is is easier to do an off cycle internship in PE or in M&A ? in London or in another place ?

Is New York a possibility for off cycle internship? Or not even worth thinking about that?

I would like to start in M&A after my graduation.
