Internship opportunities for exchange students
Hi everyone,
I've read a lot of threads concerning international students but I couldn't find any answers to my doubts. I hope you can give me some insights and tips for my situation. Thanks in advance.
I am currently studying at a target university in Continental Europe (unknown in the US) and next spring will go on exchange at UVA McIntire. I am planning to take advantage of the career events at UVA and be involved in the recruiting process for SA roles, which should take place during Jan-Feb, correct me if I'm wrong. Do you think that recruiters would consider my candidacy, since I'm an international student plus on exchange for only 1 semester? What would you advise me to do in order to be in the best position for landing an internship?
