Internship taxes UK
Once heard something about a non-taxable £12750 in UK. Does that only apply to the annual figure which is then prorated? Or is it counted based only on total gross payed in summer (assuming you go back to school & stop earning). Is the taxation regime different for non-EU interns? What's the tax rate for internship comp in London?

The first £12,570 is tax-free. You will initially be taxed as if your internship salary is pro-rated, but will be eligible for a tax refund if your gross earnings during the tax year fall below £12,570. You may need to apply for the tax refund manually particularly if you are not UK resident.
