Internships in Lima
Hey,
I'm a Industrial Engineering student with a double degree at Ulondon, this is my last year and want to specialize in capital markets. Have been looking for any kind of internship related to finance (seriously, I have even applied to Adidas finance internship) since Jan. My parents are surgeons, so I have no relation to the capital markets world apart from the Private Banking from BCP and Credicorp Capital, which I use as a broker for some investments. My eldest brother had most of the companies of the Credicorp holding as clients, he know personally the CEO of BCP, but he refuses to help me getting an internship. Any recommendations?
Btw, I just had 2 interviews with PwC and Moody's. The first one was very just a mere "know the candidate" which I really liked, the one from Moody's was disastrous, they asked for an intern, but the description was for an analyst.
Why Lima?
It's the city where I'm finishing my engineering degree at Ulima. I was offered a degree at Sydney, but I reject it in my last year at high school (kind of stupid move).

I don't know much about the finance scene in Peru, so I can't be of much help, unfortunately. I guess try to talking to your brother again?
Yeah, I supposed that. Actually, I was expected to course my final year at London, but thing didn't end well. If I can't catch anything good here in Lima, I will look for something at UK. I suppose I would be more "appreciated" due to my country of precedence. jajajaja.
Wouldn't the pay be way lower? Like less than-half of what you'd make at a European or American office? Why would you want to subject yourself to that?
Far more, 250 USD, and that is the legal minimum wage. I really don't care about the money, I just want some experience. I would even work for free, but at a high ranked place, or with high profile people.
