Internships leading to IB?

Hello everyone, just wanted to ask what the best internships to build my resume would be so that I can land an IB job later on.

I am currently a junior accounting and finance major in Atlanta at a non-target school. Only experience is an accounting internship(accounts payable)

Opinions?

Haha, thanks for the suggestion. There is little to no recruiting for IB positions at my school? How can I get in contact with someone so I can get my foot in the door? Linkedin, Cold calls/emails?

If you have a good GPA and the right networking skills, you can work wherever you want... school doesn't matter.

You just need to cast a wide net starting with the largest investment banking by setting up info interviews, and later on in the year send out around 200 cold emails to all the no-name boutique banks.

I have the networking skills and my GPA is decent (should be high by the time I graduate) I just don't know where to start, how do I set up info interviews? I feel once I get in i'll be able to prove myself but I'm just having trouble with that initial interaction.

That's exactly what I have. Would it be best to cold email the recruiters or an associate or senior? I've looked up alumni from my school that are in IB and am planning on emailing them.
