Got an email, requesting to schedule my 2nd round interview between dates X and Y. I will be traveling, during that time. Is it going to come across as uncommitted if I ask to have the interview about two weeks later, after I'm done traveling. I can cite the shaky cellphone reception...

The recruiter knows I'm doing a fellowship abroad for a year, it's just that during those two weeks I will be doing some leisure travelling abroad as well. She seemed happy to schedule me with a different group, would this be okay? Is it okay to say I had schedule a vacation and therefore wanted to do this at a different time?
