Had a interview for an S&T job at a BB in London last friday. Sent the usual thank you e-mail two days later, and got an instant answer:
" Of course, pleasure to talk to you .... I'm sure one of my colleagues will be in touch at some point soon"
Now I have a lot of qualities, but patience is definitely NOT one of them.

I had someone tell me I was their favorite candidate of the day in a follow up email only to not receive the offer.

Lol I was pissed dude. Granted, he was only an analyst and only 1 of the 8 people I interviewed with during the superday. But still, I was fully expecting to receive an offer.
