The Investment Analyst position is an entry level position. The investment analyst will assist our consultants and senior consultants in various client-specific analytical activities including performance analysis and portfolio attribution, asset allocation and asset liability studies, investment manager searches, and assist in all other client-related projects. Analysts will also conduct investment manager research and due diligence on traditional asset classes as well as on hedge funds, private equity and real estate funds.

looks legit... sometimes, you can tell the quality of your job description by the wage they offer... for boutique firms like these, they should offer at least 55k and up... i've know places who claim to be merchant banks/PE firms who only give their analysts around the 40k range... needless to say, almost all qualitative work like sourcing deals and no valuation whatsoever...
