what advice can you give to get a job as IB associate for someone who has over 15 years experience in finance areas such as commercial lending, real estate lending, ABL lending, and some M&A. Also, obtained series 63, 82, 79 to enter the IB area, but has not been able to score a job there. BTW: this person also has an MBA. I appreciate the feedback
Definitely would be the oldest associate I have heard of. Would see best bet as being a more senior hire in a regional boutique middle market type shop. Would be surprised if ppl got past the age for an associate slot / why in the hell would you want to be an associate in your mid to late 30s?
well probably because he wants money
Lending isn't bad. After this long, he should be an RM and get a decent bonus and expense account. Sure, he isn't making IB MD or even IB VP level money, but it isn't as bad of a gig as some make it out to be.
M&I might be the better website for a question like this.
Totam ratione porro voluptas. Fugit fugiat quam temporibus ea quia. In a rerum dolorem rerum iste. Rerum in ut itaque.
