Investment Banking job one year after MBA
Looking for some advice on how to get into Investment Banking one year after an MBA.
Background: Attended top M7 business school, having attended a target undergrad with 4 years of work, and have a one-year MBA reunion coming up. I work in sales in a major tech company (think Spotify, Pinterest, Lyft) but it's not numerical or related to finance at all.
Given the hiring cycle for post-MBA Associates is so long (takes like a year to get into it), what would you recommend I do to get into Investment Banking at this stage in my career? I have a Europe preference, but would consider any geography. 'Networking' is too broad, so please be specific.
Hey DrinkingTheOasis, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I'm here since nobody responded to your thread! Bummer...could just be time of day or unlucky (or the question/topci is too vague or too specific). Maybe one of these topics will help:
Hope that helps.
