Investment Banking Summer Analyst Positions

If anyone has any opportunities for summer analyst roles in summer 2023, please let me know. I am a sophomore at Georgetown University studying finance and international business. I would prefer a position in the east coast like New York or Boston or Florida (open to the west, too). If a resume is needed, that can be given. I have worked in the public sector these past few years on Capitol Hill, but I want to transition into Investment Banking as it aligns with my interests and major.

Hi welcome. I recommend you change your username to remain anonymous on this site and to protect your privacy. People don't typically offer positions on this site but I recommend you check out different job sites, whether it be Georgetown's career site, LinkedIn, or you can always go on a Banks website and go to their careers page to search for open positions. Something else to note is that for summer analyst roles and full time roles, banks typically do their hiring process as early as June or July through October and November. Some banks also do a shorter recruitment process in the spring. At this point the big banks may be off the table, but their are certainly a lot of smaller boutique firms that you should try networking with. I'd also try to narrow down what area of finance you would like to go into. Investment Banking? Sales & Trading? Asset Management? Debit/Equity Capital Markets? There are a lot of options and it helps to know what you want to shoot for rather than applying to anything and everything.
