Is anyone still hiring 2015 grads?

Senior in college here. Completely messed up and had an existential crisis and didn't apply to 99% of on-campus recruiting events for finance and consulting jobs because I thought I wanted to go into tech. Am starting to realize tech isn't the rosy world it brands itself to be, so now I'm in a sticky situation. Are there any firms out there that are still hiring seniors that are graduating this May? Doesn't have to be front-end necessarily, just want to know what my remaining options are and if I'm royally screwed and should start applying to post-grad fellowships or work at a coffee shop.

You're nowhere near screwed. Figure what you're interested in (IB I guess) - learn you basics (don't spend >2 days on this) and then just cold call all the small boutiques in whichever city you want to work. 99%will say no but there will be this 1 guy who is running short of people because their analyst quit or something. Take the job (likely to be an unpaid internship) and then convert it to FT.

Will you get a GS offer in Feb? No. Will you get some job in IB in Feb? Sure - then from there move laterally to a BB.

Source: did the exact same thing.

PS And if you are willing to consider mid / back office then don't post here - go on banks websites and check opening positions.

Good Luck!

The way Ah see it, is that it took a revolution f a bihllion people for your darn short to work out!
