I’m seeing a trend where candidates mirror their resume exactly on LinkedIn.
But:
Resume = concise, deal-focused, metrics-driven
LinkedIn = searchable keywords, narrative positioning, credibility signals
In competitive finance recruiting (IB, AM, HF), does LinkedIn optimization give any edge?
Or is it noise compared to traditional networking?
Would appreciate insight from those who’ve recruited or screened candidates.
