Is it acceptable to recruit for FT at same bank during internship in a different office?
I got an internship offer at an EB (did a previous IB internship and PE internship), but it is late in the year and during recruiting season for FT roles. I am unsure about the conversion rate, so ideally, I would also like to recruit for FT roles during it. Moreover, I don't really want to live in the location of the internship for the long term, but the timing of the internship is so that I cannot really intensively recruit for other companies. This is especially important given that I am a final-year student and FT roles aren't exactly coming up all the time. Moreover, my grades aren't really good so I'm a bit wary of FT recruiting - I don't want to try my hand at FT recruiting and then compromise any chances of conversion only to find out my profile isn't good enough for FT recruiting.
As such, would it be acceptable to recruit for FT roles at the same firm in a different office but in the same company? Or is this really not acceptable? I assume that recruiting for different companies when in the same internship pretty much ruins any chances of conversion.
Thank you
