Is it pretentious to put insight programs on your linkedin?
I'm a sophomore at a nontarget and I got into a couple of programs, 1 with a hedge fund and 2 with BBs. Not a huge deal, just a couple of days/weeks, but were at least somewhat selective. Will I come off as a dick if I put them as experience on my LinkedIn?
Putting them on LinkedIn is fucking stupid - instead put them on your resume. Below Coursework, do "Programs: X, Y, Z
i am in the same situation, since you have 3 programs don’t put them all choose the most selective one and the biggest brand that you did the program with + which program u cant talk about the most after you choose your best program put it in the extracurriculars/leadership experience below work experience
u can talk about the most ****
I'd advise against putting it as an actual experience UNLESS you need to fill your resume.
Normally, it should look like this
Coursework: XXX
Programs: XXX
He tagged Italy, does this go for the U.S. too?
I'd say this works globally. Generally, even if it's a Spring week, I still would put it under programs.
yes
I’ve began to wonder how selective or diligent these banks are when they hand out these Spring weeks, it seems unfair and rather strange when I see a kid on LI who has done like 4-5 different Spring Insights at different firms. I don’t really have an first-hand experience with them but do they help you directly get a role?
