Is it safe to send investment thesis or projects you have worked on in a cold email?

A few weeks ago, I posted about relocating to the west coast in order to assist my friend with our start-up. I would have to resign from my current gig and find employment there in the event the start-up goes south.

I will obviously cold email with my resume and cover letter, but is it safe to attach copies of investment projects, financial models, and investments thesis I worked on?

* The firm I worked for forgot to make me sign a NDA, which why I am asking.

Thanks.

I have never sent any in the past, but the firm I currently work for did not make me sign any type of non-disclosure, which is why I am asking.
