Is it Shameful to reach out to rerecruit FT?

Incoming SA at a EB in LA. I want to switch to top BB and top EB for FT in NY. Is it going to be shameful to renetwork with the people i had done during sophomore year and ask for help again? I assume some of these people might not be as willing to help out given I was cut from their processes.

Not at all. A lot of networking is a volume game and making sure not to come off as desperate. In banking though, I can imagine some of them actually may ghost you. If a banker knows you got cut by their process before and is fine with doing a coffee chat, that's a good sign. It likely means you left a decent enough impression on them to be reconsidered. Of course it may vary on context. I struck out an IB firm last year that I know I have no chance of ever recruiting for but got along with the alum there. I'd imagine if I just wanted to get coffee with the Sr Associate / VP alum that I got along with and catch up at a NYC coffee shop on a slow day for him and talk about the industry he covers (which I have extensive experience in operationally), he'd be okay setting aside 20-30 mins for me.
