is it too late?

Sophomore target school. I’ve applied to very few of mid-market IB summer internships but started later than ideal. I haven’t done much networking yet and my technical knowledge is decent. Is it still worth pushing hard over the next month, or should I pivot to other finance roles and focus on recruiting for other finance jobs? I don’t want to regret not trying.
