Is it worth it?
I am looking for some advice as to whether it is worth pursuing an IB associate internship. A bit about me:
- Insurance industry with 9-5 role so good work life and TC ~165K
- Attending part time T10 b-school to possibly use as the pivot
- Not very interested in current role or insurance industry
- Follow the market daily in personal time
Assuming I could secure an IB associate internship(big assumption I know), is it really worth it considering current comp and current work/life? For what it's worth my interest skews more toward a trading role than traditional IB/M&A.
