Is there always a second interview?

So I interviewed 1.5 weeks ago for a fixed income sales role, selling front ends. I met with the 2 heads of the desk individully, both lasting about 30 minutes each. Thought the interview went well. Grilled me on product specific investments, current economic cycle and sales specific situations.I asked when they would like to have the position filled. They said longest 60 days, but ideally 30 days.

In this case would there be a second? And if so when do you think I would hear? The posotion is internal. I emailed the recruiter who set the interview up, but she never got back to me. Should I move on? Do I email the guys who run the desk in another week or two if I still havent recieved the no thanks email?? I sound pathetic but really want this job.

Thanks.
