Is there anything I can do to get a summer internship this late?

Long story short I'm rising sophomore and also a dumbass that apparently didn't get the memo that recruiting started in January and now am sitting here with my balls in my hands trying to cold email an internship opportunity at small private wealth management firms in the tristate area. Is there still hope to gain some banking experience this summer or is it working the grills at McDonalds until next year. I have heard that securing an internship in London could be a possibility as they recruit much later but am not too sure. If it is true though, I would be willing to go to London for the summer.
