IMD, GSAM, Global Fund Reporting Solutions, Analyst

Summary
This professional will be responsible for gathering and compiling data/content for distribution to Financial Express and other redistributors, who provide reporting services for the GSAM PLC, SICAV Mutual funds. This position will have an emphasis on reporting support. Additionally, the position over time will require understanding of the mutual funds and associated Fund data sold via Global Third Party and PWM; financial data and business programs supported, and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously. Identifying opportunities to develop value added steps that will enhance the reporting to clients, prospects and consultants will be extremely important in this position. We are team-driven to enhancing and developing new reporting workflows to further support the growth/retention of assets. This individual must also stay abreast of the financial markets and changing/growing businesses selling GSAM’s products. Strong, ongoing communication is required across the firm’s sales/marketing professionals, product team members, legal/compliance and other Asset Management departments in order to deliver reports and data in an accurate and timely manner.

Responsibilities
• Takes responsibility for maintaining and continuously improving performance marketing materials that are both channel and product-specific
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Builds awareness for the Fund Reporting Solutions Team through the execution of our business plans as well as assisting with Strategic Client Service initiatives to develop new reporting plans
• Actively seeks to drive business results by identifying opportunities to strengthen our internal and external reporting of products and sales tools
• Provides reporting/marketing input and supports content for websites
• Liaises with product teams to communicate product data in performance materials
• Liaises with different internal groups, of all levels, including TPD sales, client relationship management, IMD Communications (Marketing), Digital Strategy and Compliance/Legal
• Executes independent projects to enhance team efficiency
• Performs other functions or projects

Experience/Skills
• Strong technical skills to understand all data/statistics pertaining to GSAM’s and Mutual Funds
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong verbal and writing skills
• Strong initiative combined with good interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully with others to accomplish an objective
• Ability to leverage information from multiple sources and build synergies across reporting materials to develop clear, compelling reports
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines
• Interest/experience in the Asset Management business and the sales/marketing/reporting processes
