Is Treasury relevant work experience for S&T?

Ive been offered a few weeks work experience within the UK’s largest Building Society (Bank without shareholders essentially) within the Treasury Department at the end of summer. By that time I would have also interned within a large AM firm in The City in Compliance as well as working within a large Chartered Accountants.

My question is, is the Treasury Department experience going to hold any relevance to S&T, IBD or any other FO kind of role within Banking.

And do you also think that my 3 pieces of work experience over this summer will give me an edge when applying for SA positions for next summer. (By the way I have just finished my first year as an undergrad at university)

thanks
