IU Kelley MSF or NYU GSAS MA IR with a concentration in International Business?

Hey I am kind of stuck on my options here.

I got into the Master's in Finance program at Indiana University's Kelly School of Business. It's a one year program. If I take it, I will do their IB curriculum. I have a $15,000 scholarship to cover half the cost of attendance.

At NYU, no scholarship. 2 year program. If I go, I'd be taking classes with stern but my degree would be from the graduate school of arts and science. Being over $100k in debt is a little scary. I'm considering deferring and applying for external scholarships.

I would like to work in NYC or another big city and I am specifically interested in analyzing the the emerging global market. I'm looking at United Nations, World Bank (young professionals program), or some other type of organization (im thinking something in wall st. but I know it might not be realistic). I would also like the prospect of getting a PhD eventually because I love academia and research.

For background my undergrad is in law (3.88 gpa) from the University of AZ, prior experience in undergrad research in coding violent event data in Afghanistan, AmeriCorps community service, and United Nations Volunteering helping a Ugandan nonprofit raise money. I would actually like to make a decent living. I didn't apply to very many places since I applied very late and on a whim and also took advantage of the GRE waiver. I am still waiting on 3 other schools.

You're going straight from undergrad to more education without working?

The NYU degree sounds weird, I'd maybe focus on IU if that is your only option.

But, even a weird degree from NYU might do things - I prefer to be in NYC as well, so you have that.
