Job Hopping? - Thoughts

Is jumping firms before your 2 yr mark a good idea? My roommate and I have differing views on this and I wanted to see what fellow monkeys think. The firms we are talking about are MM in lower tier cities, and our teams seem to be a little more unstructured than the usual bank.

First though - Jump whenever a good opportunity presents itself.  Your life and you should show no loyalty.

Second thought - Stay at least 2 years for an "analyst stint" then you can find a better opportunity and work your way from there.
