Job market situation

Hi there

I’m currently working in a MM pan-European fund in London, 3rd year associate. For a couple of reasons (pay, future prospects of the fund, investment strategy), I’m looking to move to another MM – UMM fund.

I’ve been talking with some recruiters back in November last year, but there didn't seem to be much happening. As of today, it doesn’t appear that things are progressing much and I’ve heard that some MM – UMM funds are not planning to hire for the next 12-18 months.

Could you please share your perception of the job market at the moment?

Cheers!
