I hope this is the right place to post this.
I am currently junior VP at an MM boutique in London and contemplating a potential "career change"; I would like to know if anybody knows how to get into IB or buy-side roles in Dubai or the broader MENA region.
The region is quite dynamic and could offer a new experience plus, I always thought about moving to Dubai for at least a couple of years. I would like to know if someone has any recruitment experience or even on-the-job experience in the region.
Do banks/investment firms primarily hire through headhunters, or do they do it independently? My firm has no local office so I can not move them within the firm.
