JPM
hi. I'm currently interning at JPM as a high school senior (just graduated). I'm studying BME at a tier 1 non-target in the fall.
I understand that JPM has a Freshman/sophomore program and I will be applying for that next year. How are the chances for a non-target engineer?
From my understanding it's incredibly competitive. They only take a few kids, and it seems to be directed towards under-represented minorities and target school/well connected kids. There are tons of topics on this already posted, so it would be best to use the search function.
I already checked the search engines but I found that the freshman candidates have little to no finance experience prior to their application aside from their freshman finance courses from Wharton or X-target school.
Do you know how large the program is?
I really hope you are not doing a top BME program in the south. If med school is not your end goal, don't do BME (especially if finance is your end goal).
