JPM pb to mmbsi?

Hey guys,

I’ll be a SA at JPM pb this summer in a bigger non ny city (CHI/SF/LA/HOU) and am thinking of trying to move to the mmbsi program full time, but I want to find some more information before I decide what to do.

  1. What does comp progression look like from mmbsi? I know I will take a pay cut to about 85k base but I would much rather have the 9-5ish hours so the payout isn’t a big deal to me, but I would like to know long term comp progression

  2. Difficulty of the move? I know pb isn’t really related but would I have a good shot of moving to mmbsi?

  3. Exit ops? Seems like most don’t stay in mmbsi after the analyst program? What are options there? Again I’m very wlb focused, don’t need to be making crazy money and would rather have my life but still want to make a good living long term, is commercial banking good for this? Could I be looking at ~200k years into my career?

Also if anyone has any other suggestions that would be helpful!
