Junior in College: Looking for Advice

I am a junior at a non target large state school. It is in top 50 (US News) with a good business program. I am currently abroad and I had to leave in July for it therefore I was not able to get an internship. My gpa is 3.6-3.7 but I would say my resume, other then job experience, is relatively strong. I started/president of an organization, captain of a club team that practice 4-5 times week plus games, in relative business clubs/fraternities, and in social organizations. I am confident in my resume in those aspects but I want to know how I can overcome coming from a non-target with an average gpa and more importantly no internships. I want to go into IBD to potentially end up in PE but would love to hear any other finance careers anyone would suggest. I would appreciate any advice whether specific or general.
