Junior Summer Internship - New PE firm or Stay at Boutique?

Hi all,

I am a junior with a 3.6 GPA at a semi-target (USC/UCLA), struck out this past fall for IB summer positions but got a spring internship at a local boutique that has a good name in the area. I really have enjoyed my experience and have the opportunity to stay for the summer, but I just got an offer for an unpaid internship with a new boutique PE firm. There are ~9 people at the firm, so same size as the place I'm currently at, but they have much more impressive credentials (actually have bulge bracket/private equity experience).

Right now I'm leaning towards taking the offer at the PE firm but I would like some advice on what would best maximize my opportunities for full-time recruiting at BB IB groups starting in August. Also is it worth moving from a paid ($10/hr) internship to an unpaid one for the experience? Thank you!
