KPMG/PwC Advisory - Mortgage and Consumer Lending/Consumer Finance Group

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone was a part of these divisions within KPMG and PwC.

I currently work for a small, private mortgage bank (160 employees) in downtown Los Angeles, and I've been always finding out ways to break my way into the big 4. I recently was given the opportunity to create, and spearhead the mortgage servicing department (custodial accounting, escrow analysis, Asset Management, portfolio retention, etc.) within our company, and I figured if I accumulate enough knowledge, prowess, and experience, I could use it to potentially land an entry-level associate position within these divisions at KPMG or PwC.

Here are my questions: Are these the type of divisions that requires associates to have a bachelor's degree from a target school in the nation? What are some exit opportunities if you are in these service lines? Do these divisions follow the same promotion model as audit, tax, etc.? Thank you.
