Late for recruiting in london?

Hi, I'm a first year at a strong target school in the UK, studying an econ-and-something degree interested in finance jobs in London. However, I missed the boat on joining clubs/networking at the beginning of the year and as a result didn't get anything out of my (fairly disorganised) spring week apps. Obviously trying to remedy this now by applying to university clubs and cold emailing, but I'm interested in an honest perspective in where to go from here/how cooked I am

Lie about doing a masters degree on ur cv and apply for springs again next year. Try and stack informal experiences now so ur odds r better

Where would I even say that on a cv? 'prospective master's 20282-2029'? My course has no integrated masters option so it would have to be a separate thing. Will do the second half!
