Lateral transfer from JP Morgan to GS?

I am currently an IMD analyst at JP Morgan. I've applied to GS several times, and gotten rejected by various divisions. Do you know if I could apply as a lateral hire into the sanitation management division (SMD)? How exclusive is it? Exit opps? I heard this feeds into SSG.

No, this is pretty high-profile work they're trying to keep relatively exclusive. It has to do with the revolving door between GS and the government; it's been a recent means of enhancing corporate responsibility. I know a few associates there who have gone on business trips to Panama and Brazil to implement condominial systems in the favelas (at least, that's what they told me).

Exit opps are SSG because industry-specific skills are impt for both. You should be willing to accept analyst position though in SMD. Not sure about your creds...worth a try anyway.

Goldman4life, lol.
