Lateraling from specific group at a top MM to EB

Hello Everyone,

So I am lucky to have gotten a SA offer from a reputable MM firm (Blair, Baird...), but for a niche group I am not super interested in (Consumer, FIG...). I was wanting to improve my exit opportunities and recently have gotten really interested in the kind of work EBs do. Does anyone know how feasible it would be for me to recruit for FT for an EB after my internship? And what I should do to prepare?
