Currently, a 2nd-year corporate finance pm analyst at a top 5 bank (by asset size), received an offer from a well respected, yet small asset management shop that focuses on CLOs in NYC. Pay is of course a bit better but not insane. My only issue is that is it worth jumping from a relatively secure, safe job to a riskier position at a small fund, especially now?
Any feedback would be great.
