LinkedIN Recruiters
Hey Guys,
This is my first post, but I've been reading around for a while. I'm a recent graduate that was a little late on the job search during school, didn't attack it with all I had, didn't network, etc. etc. Well now I'm searching for jobs.
I had never done it before, but when I realized that I knew one of the recuiters for a particular company I wanted to work for (BB) I contacted her through LinkedIN. Now, this isn't my question.
My question is, is it OK to send INmails (I got LinkedIN plus or whatever, partially as motivation to get a job so I wouldn't have to pay $15/month haha) and it allows me to send "INmails" to basically anyone, just little messages like email, no attachments though. Sorry, got sidetracked. Is it OK so send INmails to recruiters at places I want to work (usually BB) that I don't know? Should I tell them that I applied for a particular position, want to talk, etc. and reference the position?
Or is this a faux pax?
Thanks for any advice.
faux pas*
ur graduated, ur wasting time with BBs
Agreed, try using LinkedIn to find employees at middle market/boutiques around you to message.
