LMM IB or Valuation/Advisory Firm (hl,kroll,Lincoln)

Currently recruiting for full time and need some advice. Main goal was to go into IB but I found out pretty late. Ended up snagging offers for for TO team at leading valuation firm (HL, Lincoln, Kroll) I would be rendering fairness opinions, 3rd party valuations and opinions on variety of engagements m&a, restructuring, dividend recaps, etc (Not portfolio valuations). This offer is for a large city.

My other offer is a LMM sell side boutique in a smaller mid size city. 10-50m average deal size.

Cannot find anything regarding exit ops from either firm. I prefer the offer in the bigger city and comp seems to be really nice at both places.

What would you advise? Which opens most doors down the line? My career goal would be to move to a larger investment bank and then MM PE or MF in a big city.

For background I am a non traditional student from a non target school.

If that’s the case, I would research exit ops for those valuation firms

I’m guessing from the . that you figured out the answer?
